 I think Edeline Mutize has done a remarkable thing by running the Comrade Marathon twice. She has done this to raise funds and to create awareness for an organisation close to her heart, NewKidz on the Block. She has opened peoples eyes to realize what is happening in our country. When sports players are doing these types of events to raise funds for different organisations, they arn't only helping them by raising funds. They are providing the people with hope and strength to carry on knowing that there is help for them. It shows them that someone is willing to do something extreme inorder to help them.Therefore this is great and easy way for our sports players of our country to make a difference and help South Africa.

    I agree with you Michaela. Edeline is providing the women and children of this country with hope that there are people out there willing to go the extra mile for them and help them have a better life. I also think that we as South Africans need to follow Edeline's example to help the women and children of this country who are in need. If we all do so little as give a donation towards NewKidz on the block, they will have enough funds to complete their project and create better lives for those who are in need.

    I share your admiration of Edelines intent and the attempt to raise funds. Edeline is providing the general public with a figurehead to associate with NewKidz on the Block .The newfound exposure will help the organisation attract new supporters and sponsorships which will contribute to their mission. You are spot on with your comments regarding her providing people with hope, as people will notice that she is an average person executing an extraordinary act.This is indeed a great way to capture the attention of outsiders. The very fact that most of us knew nothing about her a few weeks ago is evidence of her voice being heard across various platforms.

    I agree fully with you Micheala. Edeline has opened our eyes in some many ways. she provides to these people by doing a good thing and changing their lives.

    Edeline is hero to me because she had done good things for children of South Africa.
